woo

ok so i am back! i won't go on about the wonders of being back but will instead just get on with it!

just got back from a pleasant evening watching tosky slowly getting drunker and drunker which was funny and he gave my arm a lovely massage and it feels great for a change! he also gave us some good wedding advice - less than a year - GULP - and now i am thinking it is time to go to bed and get some much needed sleep....

I am so in love. So so so in love. Just had THE BEST day with Guido and was gutted when he had to leave. Bloody pissing work. If only i was capable of pulling a sickie!!!!!

Hey thought it was time for another update...

Had another wicked day in London with Guido last week - epic company, picnic, flix, pizza - what more could a gal ask for :-D

It's cub camp this weekend so i have been flat out sorting out loads of stuff for that, mostly paperwork, but i keep on remembering more and more things i am sposed to have done that i haven't! Oops! It will all get done in the end though.

Had a massive text row with a friend at the weekend. Fault on all sides but some outrageously mean things were said to me and i will not take it lying down.

Am knackered today as me and bird had a ludicrously late flix trip last night and got home at like 12:30am! It was sooo worth it though, saw Take The Lead, which should have been cliched and predictable but everytime we smugly predicted what was gonna happen something else did, so we were impressed. And we had the whole screen to ourselves, which was fun but also we felt like we were in the wrong place and were being naughty cos we were totally alone and we are used to them being packed out! But it was late i guess and a weeknight so people would have been home in bed!

I am just distracting myself online now for a bit cos Guido is ringing at 10:45 and i don't wanna let myself fall asleep before then, which WILL happen if i let myself get in bed...

I am gonna go do some dvd window shopping i think in anticipation of pay day :-)

Ok so the new Doctor has now graced our screens. My verdict? Epic. I was not disappointed at all. I always knew i would love David Tennant because i already loved him anyway but he was so brilliant i forgot all about Casanova and Barty Crouch Jr and he just completely became the Doctor. I was more surprised though by the brilliance of Billie Piper. I knew she was good last year but bugger me she was freaking fantastic yesterday, especially with all the chopping and changing between her and Cassandra. Brilliant. I watched it again today and i was still captivated. I have high hopes for this new dawn of the Doctor. I liked Eccleston, eventually, but he just didn't quite cut it for me... Tennant does though. :-)

Oh boy, i have been given 2 more easter eggs today bringing my total to 5 now! That is a lot of chocolate! It is great and i don't usually get any at all, but i am thinking that they will last me a reeeeeeeeaaaaalllllllly long time!

I don't know if anyone reads this anymore but i realised that i hadn't updated in like 6 months or something and so the other day i deleted it all but then i realised that was a bit rash and got it back!

So... what have i been up to... well in recent news i am no longer single and bitter and twisted. It is early days but i seem to have got me a wonderful guy called Guido and he is wicked. We have such a lot in common and we make each other laugh and we talk for hours and hours and most surprisingly he really likes me... i have been a bit overwhelmed by it all to be honest, i think because i have been single and bitter and done the unrequited thing for such a majorly long time it is really hard adjusting to the idea of someone *actually* liking me and letting them like me. But (fingers crossed & touch wood) we seem to be getting on just fine and i am sooooo happy :-)

I have recently been introduced to the series 'Firefly' and i will say just two things: 1) why didn't i watch it sooner???? and 2) how the fuck did it get cancelled??????

I have got my folder of music for the next gang show so i shall be practising all of that now and writing my harmonies etc. I really really wish i could sing though, i am gutted that someone else will be up on stage singing songs from the musicals that are so important to me i.e. Think of Me from Phantom. Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Saw V For Vendetta the other day (on my first date with Guido!) and it was freaking awesome. Such an epicly important film and such a poignant look at our society and the direction we are headed in. But unfortunately the people who need to be taking notice of it won't be.

Ok that is about it for today... i will update again soon though! No really, i will :-)

Long time no speak, see, hear, write...

G'Day

I just realised today that I have been awfully slack and have not written a single thing in here since i got back from the Land of Oz. How lazy am i!

So how was it you may ask... Um in a word, it was awesome. Brilliant. Stupendous. In more than a word, it was the best fucking experience of my whole life. Without a shadow of a doubt. I can't believe it took me so long to do it, to get on a plane and go somewhere far far away. I now want to go everywhere and the only thing holding me back is saving up and choosing where to go first! And seeing Bakula Bird after a year apart was an awesome emotional experience. We ran towards each other when i emerged at Sydney arrivals and we basically picked up just where we left off! She is still my best good friend in the whole wide world, me and her are like peas and carrots.

I will be getting my travel journal typed up and online soon so I won't go on about individual events on here but needless to say, it all rocked. Even the early mornings, crazy stalkers and 'The Room' in Adelaide that seemed to have its own conscious personality - i wouldn't take any of it back. It all contributed to what was the single most incredible experience of my life so far.

And now, to put the icing on the cake, Bakula Bird is home! She flew home at the weekend! She has achieved so much and done so much in the year that she was away. People said she couldn't do it and would be home within 6 months... well they can fuck right off cos she did do it and spectacularly too and i am so proud :-) I am so glad to have my bestest buddy back, tho it is a shame that it has to be in 'the stone' cos it is such a shit hole. But there you go, nothing in life is perfect.

So now my friends, the Bakula Birds are reunited and nothing will stop them in their evil plans for World Domination... Muahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

i am feeling quite invigorated and full of life at the moment as i went to the gym and swimming this afternoon. It is amazing how much better you feel for doing something as opposed to sitting around and I know that I will sleep better for it tonight too so good good all round really!

I have been feeling quite good all round lately too, which makes a bit difference. I mean yeah, i am still lonely bitter and twisted but i am enjoying life rather a lot and i have some really really great friends who really care about me. It is also not long until i get to see my bestest friend in the whole wide world, as it is 3 weeks yesterday until Oz! It is insane how fast that has come around!

Gotta go for now, din dins await me......
